During the buildingSMART International Summit in Singapore last March 2025, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF) has joined the conference for a possible Philippines chapter and consulted with Ada Fung and Cheng Tai Fatt, both founding president of Hongkong and Singapore chapters respectively. Also met with interim CEO Jaan Saar and Marking Diretor Aidan Mercer.
